Welsh Highland Railway, Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu

A wonderful day was spent on the Welsh Highland Railway. The journey by Steam Train from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu, in the Mountains below Snowdon was truly magnificent. The weather was not at its best and the wind was blowing a gale, we travelled in an open carriage (our choice) and were served with Hot Coffee in both directions. The staff on this railway were very friendly and gave us a day to remember.
