The journey by Steam Train from Caernarfon to Rhyd Ddu, in the Mountains below Snowdon was truly magnificent. The weather was not at its best and the wind was blowing a gale, we travelled in an open carriage (our choice) and were served with Hot Coffee in both directions. The staff on this railway were very friendly and gave us a day to remember. Wednesday 12 May 2004: A wonderful day was spent on the Welsh Highland Railway. Tramcar No. 4 at Victoria Station, the Llandudno terminus. Tramcar No. 5 takes a sharp turn into Old Road. Tramcar No. 5 heads down towards the lower terminus.
